Redbrick co-op is 7 blocks from the University of Illinois campus, 3 blocks from downtown Urbana, and 2 blocks form the Urbana public library. At redbrick ten members live together collectively sharing communal space but individually renting rooms. Co-op member commitments includes paying 125 per month into a share food system food system, paying 1/10th of utilities, and pairing up with fellow members once a week to cook for the entire house. Communal house dinners are the backbone of life at Redbrick. Members also share house choirs and attend weekly house meetings.
